Our basic Hospital SafeGuard plan pays a fixed amount per day for hospital confinements, up to the calendar-year maximum.
Important: While Hospital SafeGuard and Hospital SafeGuard Premier plans have no network limitations, you may need to stay with certain networks and providers to get the most coverage out of your major medical plan. Be sure to take that into consideration.
Hospital SafeGuard Premier pays a fixed amount for hospital confinements in addition to other qualified medical services up to the calendar-year maximum. Medical services that may be covered by Hospital SafeGuard Premier include:
With Hospital SafeGuard or Hospital SafeGuard Premier, it's very simple. After you receive care for a qualified medical service, simply complete a claim form and submit it with copies of your receipts. That’s it. Then you’ll receive a check for the fixed amount specified by your plan for that service (within your calendar-year maximum).
